Microsoft bought SwiftKey, hope not to turn it into another Nokia

Microsoft bought SwiftKey,. I sincerely hope they don't turn it into another Nokia.

I use Swype primarily on my phone, but I am still a big fans of SwiftKey.
SwiftKey was generally known for their superb prediction for TYPING.
Although I would say Swype is superior in terms of SWIPING.

There are few reasons I really like SwiftKey eventhough I don't use it much.
i) It is FREE. Since few months ago, they changed their business model, changing from paid apps to free apps. Now they offer paid themes.
ii) There is built in stats tool that let you know how many keystrokes you have saved during the time you use SwiftKey. Their PR said they have saved trillion of keystrokes for the human being. And the stats tool is constantly improving, for showing more interesting stats
iii) They used to have very creative April's fools joke, and they really implemented the feature. SwiftKey Tilt and SwiftKey Flow Hard.
iv) They don't stop innovating. Recently they launch SwiftKey Neural, which use Neural network as the decoder.
v) They have SwiftKey greenhouse that help incubate ideas.

I still prefer to use Swype on phone, because SwiftKey flow is not accurate enough.
Another problem is how they use the prediction bar, as explained in this reddit post:
